Located in Butler, PA, this contract position is structured as a 1-month assignment with the potential to extend up to 8 weeks or longer, providing steady engagement and the chance to make a meaningful impact in patient care.

Schedule:

40 hours per week Pharmacy hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Saturday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Sunday, 8:00 AM to 3:00

PM Key Responsibilities:

Verify medication orders entered by data entry technicians for multiple healthcare settings, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Inspect blister-packed, sterile, and non-sterile medications for quality and safety. Respond to calls from nursing facilities, hospice nurses, and physicians, offering clinical insights and answering medication-related inquiries. Accurately count controlled substances and maintain up-to-date documentation within the perpetual inventory system. Review emergency medication boxes for completeness and readiness.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy. Active pharmacist license in Pennsylvania, with a clear standing. Minimum of 1 year of pharmacist experience; experience in long-term care (LTC) is preferred. Proficient with pharmacy operating systems including QS1, Docutrack, and PCC. Physical ability to perform job duties, including sitting, standing, fine motor tasks, visual acuity, and lifting up to 30 pounds.
