Job Description

Staff Pharmacist Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Staff Pharmacist to join our community pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for practicing as a licensed pharmacist, ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medications, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. This role offers an opportunity to positively impact patient health and well-being through personalized care and professional expertise. Responsibilities Practice as a licensed pharmacist by accurately dispensing prescriptions and verifying medication orders. Administer immunizations in accordance with state and federal guidelines to support community health initiatives. Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries, offering medication counseling, and fostering a welcoming environment. Communicate effectively with clients regarding medication usage, potential side effects, and health concerns to promote adherence and understanding. Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards. Maintain accurate pharmacy records, manage inventory, and oversee daily pharmacy operations. Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient care plans when necessary. Qualifications Valid pharmacist license in the relevant state or jurisdiction. Proven experience practicing as a pharmacist in a community pharmacy setting preferred. Knowledge of immunization procedures and ability to administer vaccines safely. Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities. Familiarity with state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. $60.00 - $65.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 - 15.0 per week
