Role Overview:

The Pharmacist provides safe, effective, and cost-efficient medication therapy, developing evidence-based care plans focused on patient outcomes and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver pharmaceutical care tailored to specific patient care areas. Interpret and clarify physicians' medication orders, ensuring accuracy and appropriateness. Review medication profiles for drug sensitivities, interactions, and contraindications. Consult with medical staff on drug therapy issues and monitor laboratory results. Provide drug information to healthcare professionals and discharge medication counseling. Perform calculations for drug dosages, verify orders, and prepare sterile and compounded medications. Supervise pharmacy technicians, students, and interns, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Coordinate workflows, manage resources, and uphold departmental standards. Collaborate with medical and nursing teams to resolve pharmacy-related issues. Assist in updating departmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy is required; a Doctoral Degree is preferred. Strong knowledge of pharmacotherapy, excellent communication, and teamwork skills are essential.
