Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract This position offers an opportunity to apply your expertise as a licensed pharmacist in a dynamic healthcare setting. The role involves managing medication dispensing and ensuring patient safety within a fast-paced pharmacy environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately dispense prescription medications while verifying and interpreting physician orders. Counsel patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and storage requirements. Maintain compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations. Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. Manage inventory and ensure proper stocking of medications.
Desired Qualifications:
Current pharmacist license in good standing. Proven experience as a pharmacist, especially in a community or hospital pharmacy setting. Strong knowledge of prescription medications and drug interactions. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments and work independently.
Location:
Primarily based in Lebanon, PA with possible travel to Ephrata, PA. Candidates should be open to travel and temporary relocation as part of this contract.
