- Pharmacist Job Type Contract This pharmacist role offers an engaging opportunity to work in a fast-paced pharmacy supporting skilled nursing facilities, personal care facilities, and hospice care.
Schedule:
40 hours per week Pharmacy hours: Monday through Friday, 8am- 6pm Saturday, 8am
- 4pm Sunday, 8am
- 3pm Responsibilities include: Verifying medication orders entered by data entry technicians for various care facilities Reviewing packaged medications, including blister-packed, sterile, and non-sterile drugs Responding to phone inquiries from nursing facilities, hospice nurses, and physicians, addressing clinical questions Counting controlled substances and maintaining accurate perpetual inventory documentation Checking emergency medication boxes to ensure readiness
