Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM and 3:30 PM-12:00 AM, alternating weekends Position Overview We are seeking licensed pharmacists available for immediate start on a contingent contract basis. The role involves providing safe, accurate, and patient‑centered pharmaceutical care in compliance with state and federal regulations. Key Responsibilities Accept and dispense prescription medications in accordance with legal and clinical standards. Monitor patient medication compliance and identify over‑usage patterns. Ensure prescribed medications are suitable and safe for patients. Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and pharmacy files. Provide patient counseling on medication use, side effects, drug interactions, and storage. Deliver health services such as smoking cessation support, blood pressure checks, and cholesterol management. Educate patients on proper use of medical devices (e.g., blood pressure monitors, glucose meters). Compound medications for internal and external use; prepare sterile solutions following protocols. Supervise pharmacy staff including technicians and clerks. Manage inventory of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to resolve drug‑related issues and optimize patient outcomes. Qualifications Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required. Active license with the state pharmacy board. Strong knowledge of medication management, compounding, and sterile preparation. Excellent communication and patient counseling skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment. Contract Details Immediate availability required. Contingent start with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Alternating weekend coverage required.
Pay:
Up to $69.00 per hour
