ASAP (Contingent Start Required) Job Overview We are actively seeking a licensed Pharmacist for an immediate contract opportunity in Horsham, PA. This role requires candidates who are ready to start quickly and work in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. The Pharmacist will be responsible for ensuring safe medication practices, providing patient education, and collaborating with healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities Accurately accept and dispense prescription medications Monitor patient medication compliance and identify over-usage patterns Ensure all pharmaceutical practices comply with state and federal regulations Review prescriptions for accuracy, suitability, and potential drug interactions Maintain confidential and accurate patient records and pharmacy files Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, storage, and side effects Provide consultation on prescription and over-the-counter medications Offer patient services such as: Blood pressure monitoring Cholesterol management Smoking cessation support Educate patients on proper use of medical devices (e.g., glucose meters, BP monitors) Compound medications for internal and external use Prepare sterile solutions following proper procedures Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff Maintain inventory of pharmaceutical and medical supplies Identify and resolve drug-related issues in collaboration with physicians and healthcare teams Work closely with physicians, nurses, interns, and other healthcare professionals Required Qualifications Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree Active Pharmacist license in the state of Pennsylvania Ability to start immediately on a contingent basis Preferred Qualifications Experience in retail, hospital, or clinical pharmacy settings Strong knowledge of drug interactions, patient care, and compliance regulations Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and patient counseling skills #

$67.00 - $70.00 per hour
Experience:
prescription dispensing and verification: 2 years (Preferred) retail, hospital, or clinical pharmacy: 2 years (Preferred)
