Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract To Hire A specialized opportunity is available for a Non-Sterile Compounding Pharmacist at a dedicated compounding pharmacy facility in Kennett Square, PA. This role focuses on overseeing and verifying technician-compounded non-sterile preparations tailored to meet individual patient needs. The position offers a 13-week contract-to-hire assignment, ideal for pharmacists with expertise in personalized pharmaceutical formulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify and ensure accuracy of non-sterile compounded preparations according to master formula worksheets. Implement and adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and regulatory policies to maintain patient safety and compliance. Oversee cleaning and garbing protocols in line with company standards. Perform calculations and manage detailed documentation. Operate production and computerized equipment according to established procedures. Maintain quality, purity, and potency standards of compounded medications. Conduct quality control tests and inspections verifying preparation accuracy. Stay updated on new compounding techniques, formulations, and technologies through continuous learning.
Qualifications:
Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license. Recent pharmacy experience. Background and experience in non-sterile compounding required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
