Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Pharmacist to join our CVS Health team inside Target. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional pharmacy services, including immunizations, and ensuring a positive experience for our customers. As a vital part of the team, you will help navigate patients through their healthcare needs, promote health and wellness, and uphold the highest standards of professional care. Duties Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with all legal and safety regulations. Administer immunizations to eligible customers, providing education on vaccine benefits and addressing any concerns. Deliver outstanding customer service by engaging with customers professionally, answering questions, and offering health advice when appropriate. Collaborate with store staff to ensure smooth pharmacy operations and maintain accurate medication records. Educate patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and health management strategies. Maintain confidentiality of patient information in accordance with privacy laws and company policies. Stay current with industry regulations, pharmacy best practices, and new healthcare initiatives to provide the best possible care. Requirements Valid pharmacist license in good standing for the state of employment. Proven experience working as a pharmacist within a retail or healthcare setting preferred. Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety procedures. Ability to administer immunizations following proper protocols. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor. Effective communication skills to educate and engage with diverse customers. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple responsibilities efficiently.
