Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Direct Hire A permanent opportunity is available for a pharmacist to work in a non-compounding, closed-door pharmacy setting. This role is based in Elizabethtown, PA, offering a consistent Monday to Friday schedule from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, with no weekend shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate, prepare, and dispense medications in compliance with professional standards, facility protocols, and all applicable state and federal laws. Conduct medication reconciliation processes, when possible, to ensure a smooth continuum of care for patients upon discharge. Provide excellent customer service and clinical care with a patient-centered approach. Consult with patients on prescribed medications and supplies, including dosage, frequency, special considerations, and potential drug interactions.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid Pharmacist license for the state of Pennsylvania. Experience working in a pharmacy environment focused on patient care and safety. Strong knowledge of medication dispensing regulations and clinical practices. Excellent communication skills to effectively consult with patients and healthcare professionals. Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards in medication management.
