Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A travel pharmacist opportunity is available at a 160-bed community hospital in Lebanon, PA, offering a rewarding role supporting patient care in a collaborative clinical environment. This contract position begins ASAP and lasts for 13 weeks or more, providing a chance to apply your expertise while gaining diverse hospital experience.
Schedule:
40 hours per week Shifts between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Every 3rd or 4th Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Key Responsibilities:
Verifying medication orders accurately to ensure patient safety Supervising pharmacy technicians in daily operations Consulting with physicians and nurses on medication management and clinical decisions Managing pharmacokinetics evaluations and drug therapy monitoring Utilizing EPIC and Pyxis systems to support pharmacy workflows
Desired Qualifications:
Valid Pennsylvania pharmacist license Hospital pharmacy experience, demonstrating clinical competence Proficiency in EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis automation systems Exposure to chemotherapy handling and protocols is preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills for multidisciplinary collaboration This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a busy hospital pharmacy while developing your clinical skills and supporting patient-centered care.
