Job Overview We are hiring a dedicated and highly skilled Pharmacist. Responsibilities Dispense medications accurately while adhering to pharmaceutical regulations and hospital protocols Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine appropriate medication therapy plans Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and modify treatment regimens based on pharmacotherapeutics principles Prepare and compound IV infusions using aseptic technique, ensuring sterility and correct dosing Manage medication inventory, including procurement, storage, and proper documentation within Pharmacy Information Systems (PIS) and Electronic Health Records (EHR) Provide clinical pharmacy services in high-acuity areas such as ICU, PICU, trauma centers, emergency rooms, and oncology units Educate patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions to promote safe medication practices Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulatory standards and participate in quality assurance initiatives Precept pharmacy residents and students to foster clinical excellence and professional growth Stay current with advancements in pharmacology, drug regulation updates, and hospital pharmacy best practices Requirements Valid pharmacist license in the relevant jurisdiction with practicing authority as a pharmacist Extensive hospital pharmacy experience with a focus on acute care environments such as ICU, emergency room, or trauma centers Strong background in clinical pharmacy practice including pharmacology, physiology knowledge, pain management (acute pain), oncology medications, and pediatrics Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems and Pharmacy Information Systems (PIS) for medication management and documentation Skilled in IV compounding, aseptic technique, drug regulation adherence, and medication administration protocols Excellent patient service skills with the ability to perform thorough patient assessments and support patient care initiatives
