07:00 - 15:30 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts (40 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:

Review and dispense medication orders from physicians and extenders, ensuring accuracy in drug, dose, frequency, and route. Assess patient allergies, medical history, drug interactions, and lab data to identify clinical conflicts. Manage inventory control and provide drug information to healthcare team members. Supervise pharmacy students and technicians during medication preparation for safety and accuracy. Collaborate with the healthcare team on patient care planning and discharge processes. Adhere to medication safety and quality assurance protocols, especially when handling medication errors or high-dose responses.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License in good standing (required). Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy from an accredited program; PharmD preferred. Minimum 1-year hospital experience or Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) in clinical settings preferred. Experience with sterile compounding and IV room required. Proficiency with EPIC Dispense Prep and EPIC camera verification system is strongly preferred; candidates must demonstrate adaptability if unfamiliar. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred. Commitment to a full 3 to 6-month contract period is mandatory. This position strictly contract-only; permanent or full-time placement discussions are not applicable.
