3007321938-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Jackson HealthPros is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to support partner healthcare facilities across Nashville, TN. In this role, you will verify and dispense medications, review orders for safety and accuracy, and counsel patients and clinical staff on appropriate medication use. You will collaborate closely with nurses and physicians, support medication reconciliation, and help maintain regulatory compliance and inventory control. Responsibilities Dispense prescription medications accurately and safely in accordance with state and federal regulations Review and verify medication orders for appropriateness, dosage, interactions, and contraindications Provide medication counseling and education to patients, families, and healthcare staff Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to optimize medication therapy and patient outcomes Maintain accurate pharmacy records, documentation, and regulatory compliance Oversee medication storage, inventory management, and handling of controlled substances Participate in medication reconciliation, safety initiatives, and quality improvement efforts Use pharmacy information systems and technology to process, verify, and track prescriptions Support training and mentorship of pharmacy technicians and new pharmacists as needed Uphold Jackson Health Pros' standards of service, integrity, and professionalism in all interactions Required Skills Medication dispensing Prescription verification Clinical pharmacology Drug utilization review Medication therapy management (MTM) Patient counseling Pharmacy law and regulatory compliance Drug interaction screening Pharmacy information systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, QS/1) Inventory and controlled substance management
