Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Per Diem This per diem opportunity seeks a licensed pharmacist to provide professional coverage from August 3rd through 7th, working first shifts from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area. You will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications while delivering outstanding patient care.

Responsibilities include:

Dispensing medications accurately under the direct supervision of the manager Counseling patients on medication use and regimens to promote effective treatment Handling patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints according to organizational policies Maintaining stock levels and carefully managing controlled drug records and inventories Addressing patient issues and clarifying third-party insurance coverage as needed

Desired Qualifications:

Valid pharmacist license with relevant state credentials Experience with pharmacy dispensing software; familiarity with Pioneer is preferred Strong communication skills for patient counseling and problem resolution Attention to detail in medication handling and inventory maintenance Ability to work independently following manager direction
