Home Infusion Staff Pharmacist - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania RPh on the Go - 4.1 Philadelphia, PA Job Details Contract 1 day ago Qualifications IV compounding Licensed Pharmacist (State-Specific) Doctor of Pharmacy Licensed Pharmacist Compounding medications Full Job Description Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A home infusion pharmacist position is available for a contract assignment in Philadelphia, PA. This role focuses on preparing customized, sterile medications such as IV fluids in a controlled environment that adheres to strict aseptic techniques for patient safety.
Schedule/Hours:
Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Assignment length: 8+ weeks Low volume with support from 1 technician
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare sterile medications following USP and USP standards Verify sterile compounding accuracy and quality Maintain and oversee cleanroom equipment and environment Supervise pharmacy technicians during compounding processes Conduct final inspections of sterile products to ensure compliance and safety
Qualifications:
Active and clear Pennsylvania pharmacist license required Minimum of 1 year recent experience in sterile compounding Strong computer skills for documentation and verification processes Knowledge of home infusion pharmacy practices and regulatory standards This contract opportunity is ideal for a pharmacist skilled in sterile compounding who values a structured Monday to Friday schedule and the chance to work closely with a supportive technician.
