Job Description
Summary While performing duties related to St. Clair Hospital this position is responsible for providing or overseeing the provision of all components of pharmacy services. Identifies, prevents, and resolves drug-related problems. Monitors drug therapy, provides drug information, and may recommend drug therapy. Interacts with patients, family members, and other health care providers as appropriate to achieve desired patient outcomes through safe, timely, cost-effective therapy. Supervises and directs support personnel. Complies with all regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and professional standards. Minimum Qualifications Current Pennsylvania licensure or licensure eligibility required. Licensure required within 6 months of date of hire. Excellent communication, project management and analytical skills. Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office. Preferred Qualifications One to three years of previous experience.
