The role offers a unique chance to work flexibly within both the Emergency Department (ED) and Critical Care Unit (CCU), as well as contribute to the antibiotic stewardship team. Responsibilities:
Verify and enter medication orders while reviewing medication profiles for appropriateness and safety. Provide clinical pharmacy services tailored to the unique needs of ED and ICU patient populations. Engage actively in multidisciplinary rounds and collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes. Conduct drug therapy monitoring and manage pharmacist-managed consults according to established protocols. Participate in acute patient care scenarios, including cardiac arrest, stroke, sepsis, and trauma, providing critical pharmaceutical support.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Licensed pharmacist with clinical experience in acute care settings, particularly ED and/or critical care preferred. Strong knowledge of medication management and clinical protocols in hospital environments. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused setting and participate in collaborative patient care. Adaptability to work across multiple units and handle high-acuity situations.
