Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract To Hire Pharmacist-in-Charge Opportunity in Kennett Square, PA A leading 503A compounding pharmacy is seeking a highly experienced Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) / Pharmacy Director to oversee all aspects of sterile and non-sterile compounding and pharmacy operations. This role holds full regulatory accountability and serves as the top pharmacy leader responsible for ensuring compliance and quality across the facility.

8:30 AM - 5:30 PM Flexible availability on Saturdays if needed
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the legally designated PIC for all non-resident state pharmacy licenses, unless otherwise assigned Act as the primary contact for Boards of Pharmacy, inspectors, auditors, and regulatory agencies Ensure accurate reporting of all operational, ownership, facility, or PIC changes Lead and supervise pharmacists, sterile/non-sterile compounding supervisors, technicians, and production staff Oversee batch record creation, review, execution, and approval daily Manage production schedules to ensure on-time delivery and maintain inventory accuracy Maintain compliance with
FDA 503A, USP
, , , state, and federal regulations Drive continuous quality improvement and quality assurance initiatives
Qualifications:
Valid Pennsylvania Pharmacist License Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Pharmacist-in-Charge or Pharmacy Manager Extensive knowledge of USP chapters and 503A compounding regulations Proven track record in managing audits and regulatory inspections Strong leadership and operational management skills This contract-to-hire position offers a unique chance to lead high-standard compounding pharmacy operations with regulatory oversight.
