Job Title:
Clinical PharmacistJob Description The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for ensuring the safety and effective management of daily operations within the assigned patient care team. This role involves overseeing pharmacy staff, providing clinical support to patients, and ensuring compliance with state, federal, and board of pharmacy laws. Responsibilities + Provide oversight and safety for daily operations of the assigned patient care team. + Manage assigned pharmacy staff. + Offer clinical support to patients. + Ensure all prescriptions are dispensed in accordance with relevant laws. + Act as the primary intake for all new team referrals initiated by telephone. + Deliver exceptional customer service as per internal policies. + Foster relationships with patients and clinicians. + Conduct comprehensive clinical reviews of pharmacotherapy for each patient. + Perform drug utilization reviews, compliance checks, interaction screenings, side effect profiling, and drug administration support. Essential Skills + PharmD degree. + 2-3 years of experience in counseling and direct patient care. + Strong customer service skills. + Ability to conduct comprehensive clinical reviews and provide pharmacotherapy support. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Proficiency in multitasking. + Computer savvy. Work Environment This position requires working hours from 9 AM to 6 PM in a hybrid model, with 2 days in the office and 3 days at home. The candidate will be onsite for the first 6 months and undergo 3-4 weeks of onsite training. The candidate should reside within an hour's distance from the office. The work involves handling call volumes of up to 30 calls per day. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Cary, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
