Job Overview Full job description Staff Pharmacist - County Drug Job Overview County Drug is looking to add another Staff Pharmacist to our team. We are a locally owned independent community pharmacy focused on patient care, teamwork, and creating a positive work environment where employees tend to stay long-term. Responsibilities Dispense medications accurately while adhering to all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medication reviews and health histories, to optimize therapy plans Lead pharmacy teams by supervising technicians, fostering a collaborative work environment, and maintaining high standards of patient service Utilize pharmacy software systems (PIS/EHR) for prescription processing, medication administration records, and electronic health records management Support patient care initiatives by providing education on medication use, side effects, and lifestyle modifications Skills Proven ability practicing as a pharmacist with strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and pharmacology Excellent client communication skills coupled with a customer service-oriented approach to patient interactions Ability to manage pharmacy teams effectively while maintaining high levels of clinical confidentiality and practicing within scope of practice Basic life support certification alongside immunization certification for administering vaccines Join a locally owned pharmacy that values its employees and the community it serves.
