Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract This opportunity calls for a Clinical Pharmacist to provide expert consultative services and enhance medication therapy outcomes in a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center. The role focuses on improving medication usage within the pharmacy scope of practice while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate and optimize medication therapy for pediatric patients. Provide clinical expertise and consultative support to healthcare professionals. Process orders and prescriptions accurately to dispense medications and supplies. Advise physicians, healthcare staff, residents, and patients on the safe administration of medications. Participate in the development and adherence to medication safety policies and regulatory compliance. Perform additional duties as assigned to support pharmacy operations.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Minimum of 2 years recent pediatric pharmacy experience required. Valid Tennessee Pharmacy license. Strong knowledge of clinical pharmacy practices and regulatory standards. Ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary healthcare teams.
