Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract To Hire This opportunity is ideal for a motivated pharmacist eager to develop expertise in specialty pharmacy and advance their career in a collaborative, patient-focused environment. The role involves clinical management of patients with complex conditions such as hemophilia, immune deficiencies, and autoimmune disorders, with an emphasis on infused drug therapies.
Location:
Collierville, TN (specialty pharmacy setting)
Schedule:
Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00
PM Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients requiring specialized infused medications, including factor replacement therapies and novel agents such as emicizumab. Educate patients and their families on proper drug administration, side effect management, medication adherence, and safe home handling. Coordinate care effectively with physicians, nurses, and in-house care coordinators to optimize treatment outcomes. Collaborate with reimbursement specialists to navigate insurance plans, manage prior authorizations, and identify financial assistance options.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active Tennessee Pharmacist License (required) Arkansas Pharmacist License highly preferred Experience with CareTend software highly desirable; training provided if necessary Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as required Strong work ethic with a drive to grow professionally in a low-volume, specialized pharmacy environment Recent graduates or pharmacists seeking to expand their skills encouraged to apply This contract-to-hire position offers an exciting path to professional advancement, including the potential for partial ownership within the company.
