Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract Join a specialized mail order pharmacy serving a renal specialty patient population, processing approximately 1,000 prescriptions daily. This contract opportunity is ideal for experienced pharmacists who thrive in a high-volume, detail-oriented environment and value a culture that prioritizes the right fit. Flexible, temporary roles are available with a clear focus on effective, accurate prescription verification.
Shift Details:
Two positions: 2nd Shift, 1:30 PM to 8:30 PM, Monday through Friday One position: 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through
Friday Key Responsibilities:
Perform Pharmacist Verification 1 (PV1) and Pharmacist Verification 2 (PV2) tasks, including final verification processes Ensure correct medication is dispensed, verifying bottle/box contents and prescription directions against hard copy orders Utilize the Wellsky pharmacy order entry system; this position does not involve automation Work with high accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment No on-call duties required
Preferred Qualifications:
