Job Description

Overview Join our experienced team of pharmacists and technicians as a PRN Pharmacist making $60/hr. We are looking for a dependable pharmacist to help us out in the next few weeks and later. Duties Dispense medications accurately while adhering to all safety protocols and pharmacy regulations Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine appropriate medication therapies and identify potential drug interactions Collaborate with medical teams to develop and modify treatment plans, including pain management and critical care protocols Manage inventory levels efficiently, ensuring proper storage, documentation, and compliance with HIPAA regulations Utilize pharmacy software, EMR (Electronic Medical Records), and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems for documentation and medication tracking Administer immunizations and perform medication administration procedures following established guidelines Assist in training pharmacy technicians and supporting staff on compounding medications, medication safety, and inventory management Qualifications Valid Tennessee pharmacist license Proven experience in community pharmacy Experience with pharmacy software systems, specifically PioneerRx Immunization certificate with current BLS certification Ability to perform patient assessments effectively in diverse populations including pediatrics and adults Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy of patient information Excellent communication skills for patient care discussions and interdisciplinary collaboration Embrace this opportunity to contribute your clinical expertise in a flexible PRN role that values your skills and dedication. Pay:
