Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract To Hire A Specialty Pharmacy located in Cordova, TN, is seeking a dedicated pharmacist with a strong work ethic to join as a Staff Pharmacist. This Contract-to-Hire opportunity is ideal for a motivated professional interested in long-term growth and the potential to become a partial owner of the company. The role focuses on providing specialized pharmaceutical care in a low-volume setting, with a commitment to patient-centered clinical management.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients with hemophilia, immune deficiencies, autoimmune disorders, and other conditions requiring infused medications. Apply therapy-specific expertise to manage factor replacement therapies, emicizumab, and various subcutaneous and IV infusions for chronic conditions. Educate patients and their families on complex drug administration techniques, side effect management, adherence, and medication safety at home. Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and in-house care coordinators to ensure seamless care coordination. Partner with reimbursement specialists to navigate insurance plans, secure prior authorizations, and assist patients with financial assistance options.
Qualifications and Experience:
Active Tennessee Pharmacist License required. Experience with CareTend pharmacy software is highly desirable; training is available. Willingness to obtain licenses in other states is a plus. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative healthcare environment.
Schedule:
