Schedule:
Monday - Friday | 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM (No Nights or Weekends)

Rx relief About the Role Rx relief is hiring a licensed Pharmacist to join a growing team near Nashville, TN. This position focuses on delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care through accurate prescription fulfillment, thorough clinical evaluation, and direct patient interaction. Core Responsibilities Prescription Management:
Evaluate, process, and sign off on medication orders to ensure correct dosage, therapeutic efficacy, and safety compliance.
Patient & Clinical Care:
Counsel patients on proper drug administration, potential side effects, and storage. Consult with prescribing physicians to address drug interactions or adjust therapies as needed.
Technician Supervision:
Direct and monitor pharmacy technicians in routine compounding, packaging, and stock assembly.
Inventory & Compliance:
Oversee medication storage, monitor controlled substance logs, assist with ordering, and strictly adhere to state and federal pharmacy laws, including HIPAA guidelines.
Quality Improvement:
Identify potential workflow hazards, report adverse events, and participate in continuous quality control initiatives.
Candidate Qualifications Education:
PharmD or B.S. in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
Licensure:
Valid, unencumbered Tennessee Pharmacist license.
Experience:
2+ years of clinical, retail, specialty, or mail-order pharmacy experience preferred.
Certifications:
Immunization delivery certification and BLS/CPR preferred.
Skills:
Familiarity with pharmacy management software, insurance reimbursement procedures (including Workers' Compensation), and general office software.
