Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract This opportunity places a Pharmacist in a 150-bed community hospital setting where clinical expertise and collaborative skills are valued. The role focuses on delivering high-quality pharmacy services in an inpatient environment while working closely with healthcare providers to ensure patient safety and effective medication use.

Schedule:
8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM to 4:30
PM Start Date:
Immediate availability preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently Supervise and support pharmacy technicians in daily operations Consult with physicians, nurses, and other medical staff on medication management and patient care Utilize hospital systems such as Cerner and Omnicell for medication distribution and record-keeping Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Licensed Pharmacist in Texas Minimum 1+ years current inpatient pharmacy experience Strong skills in intravenous (IV) admixture preparation and safety protocols Familiarity with hospital pharmacy IT systems (Cerner, Omnicell) Effective communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration This contract role is ideal for professionals ready to engage in a fast-paced hospital pharmacy environment and contribute to a patient-focused healthcare team.
