Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced pharmacist to support a 150-bed community hospital in providing top-tier patient care. The hospital is part of a well-established healthcare system, ensuring access to advanced resources and collaboration with a dedicated medical team.
Location:
Nacogdoches, TX Schedule:
8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM to 4:30
PM Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders with accuracy and efficiency Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure compliance and workflow Collaborate closely with physicians and nurses to optimize patient medication plans Manage IV admixture preparation and maintain safety standards Utilize Cerner and Omnicell systems for medication management and documentation
Qualifications:
Current Texas pharmacist license Minimum of 1 year inpatient pharmacy experience, preferably in a hospital setting Proficient in IV admixture preparation Familiarity with Cerner and Omnicell preferred Strong communication and supervisory skills This 13-week contract role requires a pharmacist eager to make an immediate impact with a dynamic healthcare team.
