Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A community hospital in Nacogdoches, TX, is seeking a Pharmacist for a 13-week contract position. This role involves working in a 150-bed facility, providing vital pharmacy services within the inpatient setting. The schedule consists of 8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders ensuring accuracy and compliance Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow efficiency Collaborate and consult with physicians and nursing staff regarding patient medication therapy Utilize healthcare IT systems, including Cerner and Omnicell, for daily tasks
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid Texas Pharmacist license is required Strong experience with IV admixture preparation At least 1 year of recent inpatient pharmacy work experience
