Located in Gilmer, TX, this role offers a dynamic clinical setting with a focus on inpatient pharmacy services.

Schedule:

Four 10-hour day shifts per week Flexible scheduling options including possible block schedules (e.g., 8 days on, 6 days off)

Key Responsibilities:

Order verification ensuring accuracy and compliance Supervising pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow and quality standards Collaborating with physicians and nurses to provide medication consultations Managing pharmacokinetics dosing Supporting emergency medicine and neonatal medication protocols

Desired Qualifications:

Current Texas Pharmacist license A minimum of 1 year recent inpatient or clinical pharmacy experience Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis medication dispensing systems highly preferred Experience with pharmacokinetic dosing and neonatal medication knowledge Familiarity with emergency medicine pharmacy practices This position offers the chance to engage in clinical decision-making within a trauma center environment, facilitating impactful care.
