Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A dynamic opportunity is available for two licensed Pharmacists to support pharmacy operations in Longview, TX. These contract positions focus on delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care and ensuring the accurate dispensing of medications in a fast-paced environment. Candidates will apply their expertise to enhance patient safety, collaborate with healthcare teams, and manage medication therapies effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately dispense prescription medications and counsel patients on their proper use Verify the validity and appropriateness of prescriptions Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to optimize pharmacological treatments Monitor patient health and medication regimens for safety and effectiveness Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and pharmacy policies Perform inventory management and ensure proper storage of medications
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Current and unrestricted Pharmacy license Proven experience as a Pharmacist within retail or hospital pharmacy settings Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and patient counseling techniques Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams Ability to work independently and efficiently in a clinical environment
