Category Pharmacy-Pharmacist in Charge Job Type All Job Types A pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacist in Charge to join their team for a part-time 13-week assignment starting as soon as possible. The role is located in Irving, Texas, with a flexible schedule on the 1st shift, including day or mid shifts based on availability. This position requires holding an active Texas or Alabama pharmacist license, with a start date of August 12 preferred.
Location:
Irving, Texas Schedule:
Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week 1st shift, flexible between day or mid-shift hours
Key Responsibilities:
Verify prescription orders accurately and efficiently Handle inbound calls from patients and physician offices concerning medication inquiries Maintain compliance with all pharmacy policies and regulatory guidelines
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Active pharmacist license in Texas or Alabama (required) Additional licenses in Nevada, Oregon, Tennessee, or Oklahoma are also accepted Licenses in Michigan, Massachusetts, Maryland, Louisiana, Mississippi, West Virginia, Kansas, Kentucky, or Nebraska are considered advantageous Experience working with high-volume prescription processing (1,000 - 1,500 scripts per day) Proficiency with DRx pharmacy software preferred This part-time role offers the opportunity to contribute expertise in a fast-paced retail and mail-order pharmacy setting while accommodating your schedule.
