Job Description
This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus. Prepares medication, upon receipt of prescription, for use within the hospital. Enters/verifies medication orders into pharmacy computer to establish patient drug regimes. Purchases pharmaceuticals and stocks pharmacy and ancillary departments with medications based on par levels. Communicates drug information with Nursing staff. Oversees the preparation and dispensing of medications. Checks all medications dispensed from the pharmacy.
