This is an excellent opportunity for a recent Pharmacy graduate looking to develop clinical and operational experience in a fast-paced pharmacy environment. The Pharmacist will work closely with pharmacy technicians, providers, and patients to ensure safe and effective medication dispensing while delivering exceptional patient care. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Review, interpret, and verify prescriptions for accuracy. Dispense medications in accordance with state and federal regulations. Conduct medication therapy reviews and assess appropriateness based on patient history. Counsel patients regarding medication use, side effects, storage, and adherence. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to support continuity of care. Review potential drug interactions, contraindications, and allergies. Maintain accurate patient profiles and pharmacy records. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, state pharmacy regulations, and company policies. Support inventory management and proper medication storage procedures. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and workflow optimization. Work collaboratively with pharmacy technicians and other staff to provide exceptional patient care. Qualifications PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited school of pharmacy. Active Texas Pharmacist License or ability to obtain licensure before start date. Strong clinical knowledge and commitment to patient safety. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency with pharmacy systems and basic computer applications. Preferred Qualifications Pharmacy rotations or internship experience in retail, specialty, infusion, or hospital pharmacy settings. Experience counseling patients and collaborating with healthcare professionals. Bilingual skills are a plus. (Optional) Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods.
