Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract Join a dynamic healthcare setting as a Pharmacist in a 150-bed community hospital located in Nacogdoches, TX. This contract opportunity offers a 13-week assignment starting as soon as possible, providing a chance to showcase your inpatient pharmacy skills in a supportive environment. Responsibilities include order verification, supervising pharmacy technicians, and consulting with physicians and nurses to ensure optimal patient care. The pharmacy utilizes Cerner and Omnicell systems, so familiarity with these technologies will enable you to perform your duties efficiently.
Schedule:
8-hour shifts 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Desired Qualifications:
Licensed Pharmacist in Texas Minimum of 1 year of recent inpatient pharmacy experience Proficient in IV admixture preparation and administration Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team This role is ideal for pharmacists seeking hands-on inpatient experience with an emphasis on patient safety and clinical consultation.
