Headquartered in Spring, TX, we specialize in wellness optimization, hormone therapy, and performance-based medicine — driven by a team committed to advancing patient outcomes through innovation, precision, and excellence. Apex Pharmacy Solutions is looking for a detail-oriented Order Entry Pharmacy Technician to join our operations team. In this role, you will process prescription orders with accuracy and efficiency, communicate with prescriber offices, and ensure every order moves seamlessly through our pharmacy system — contributing directly to the timely, accurate delivery of patient medications. Key Responsibilities Order Processing & Data Entry › Communicate with prescriber offices via phone or fax to process orders and ensure customer satisfaction. › Review and verify all orders for completeness before routing to entry. › Process electronic and faxed prescriptions accurately into the pharmacy management system. › Calculate order quantities based on requested amounts or automated system recommendations. › Perform data entry for reorders, new orders, PRN orders, admissions, and patient-related requests. › Ensure all orders are processed within cutoff times and expected delivery windows. Issue Resolution & Documentation › Manage order shorts, refill-too-soon files, pending orders, and claims in collaboration with the team. › Research and resolve missing deliveries, incorrect prescriptions, or medication order discrepancies. › Maintain accurate medication records, compute charges, and enter data into the system. Qualifications Required › Valid Texas Pharmacy Technician license (TSBP). › Strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy. › Effective communication and problem-solving skills. Preferred › CPhT certification strongly preferred. › Prior pharmacy or healthcare data entry experience. › Familiarity with LifeFile pharmacy management system. Pay:
$70.00 - $100.00 per hour
