Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A dynamic opportunity is available for a licensed Pharmacist to support pharmaceutical services in a large, bustling 500+ bed hospital located in a premier medical district in Texas. This role is ideal for an experienced professional ready to contribute in a fast-paced inpatient setting.
Location:
Spring, TX (Texas Medical Center vicinity)
Schedule/Hours:
12:30 PM to 9:00 PM 1:30 PM to 10:00
PM Contract Duration:
13 weeks with the potential to transition to a permanent position
Responsibilities:
Dispense and manage medications in accordance with hospital protocols and patient needs Provide clinical pharmacy services on inpatient units, collaborating closely with medical and nursing staff Utilize EPIC electronic medical records to optimize medication therapy and ensure accurate documentation Monitor patient responses and adjust medication therapies as needed in coordination with healthcare teams Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and hospital standards
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Current Texas pharmacist license required Texas IV certification necessary Minimum of 3 years of inpatient pharmacy experience EPIC system experience preferred This role offers exposure to a large, complex healthcare environment where your expertise will directly impact patient care quality.
