Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract Join a growing specialty pharmacy as an Evening Production Pharmacist. This 13-week contract-to-hire opportunity is ideal for pharmacists who thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Retail pharmacists are encouraged to apply, and no compounding experience is required. Responsibilities Manage the prescription fulfillment process from verification through final preparation. Perform thorough Drug Utilization Reviews (DUR) and document interventions accurately. Ensure compliance with state, federal, and company policies. Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and pharmacy team members. Monitor and manage pharmacy inventory. Package and prepare prescriptions for shipment or site injection, including refrigerated and specialty medications. Maintain accurate records using pharmacy management software. Support efficient workflow while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and patient safety. Work Hours 13-week contract with potential for permanent hire Monday through Friday Evening shift: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM On-site interviews available between 9:30 AM and 2:30 PM Experience Active Texas Pharmacist license required. Minimum of 1 year of pharmacist experience. Retail pharmacy experience is welcome. Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume pharmacy environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Education Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.
