We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join our team. As a Staff Pharmacist at our compounding pharmacy, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient-specific care and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. Responsibilities
- Review and interpret medication orders to ensure accuracy and appropriateness
- Compound and dispense medications according to established protocols
- Provide drug information to healthcare professionals and patients
- Collaborate with providers to develop patient-specific treatment plans
- Monitor patient responses to medication therapy and adjust as necessary
- Conduct medication utilization reviews to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards Requirements
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy
- Current Utah state pharmacist license in good standing
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, physiology, and anatomy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
