Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A community hospital with 200 beds is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to support their pharmacy services on a contract basis. This travel opportunity offers a dynamic environment with diverse clinical responsibilities, ideal for a pharmacist with inpatient experience looking to advance their career in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Location:
Ogden, UT Schedule:
2nd shift: 12:30 pm to 11:00 pm 7 days on, 7 days off (Wednesday to Tuesday)
Key Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations Perform pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care Utilize hospital systems such as Meditech and Pyxis for medication management
Qualifications:
Active Utah pharmacist license Minimum of 1 year of inpatient pharmacy experience Strong communication and clinical consultation skills Proficient with hospital pharmacy IT systems preferred This contract assignment begins immediately and lasts for 13 weeks, with the possibility to extend.
