Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A travel pharmacy technician opportunity is available in Ogden, UT, offering a 13-week contract with the possibility of extension. This role requires a licensed pharmacy technician with experience in pharmacy and prescription dispensing. Candidates must already hold a Utah pharmacy technician license due to the stringent licensing requirements in the state.
Schedule:
2nd shift: 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM Every other weekend
Responsibilities:
Accurately filling and dispensing prescriptions in accordance with state regulations Managing medication inventory and assisting with medication recalls Collaborating with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety Maintaining detailed and organized records Providing excellent customer service and addressing patient inquiries
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Current and valid Utah pharmacy technician license Prior experience in a pharmacy setting, preferably in hospital or retail pharmacy Knowledge of prescription medications and pharmacy operations Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work effectively on a second-shift schedule and weekends as required
