Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract Join a dynamic pharmacy team in Ogden, UT, as a Travel Pharmacy Technician on a 13-week contract with an option to extend. This role offers the opportunity to work a 2nd shift schedule, specifically from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, including every other weekend, providing a balanced work-life routine.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications under pharmacist supervision Manage inventory and ensure the proper storage of medications Assist pharmacists in daily pharmacy operations Maintain compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare staff
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current and valid Utah Pharmacy Technician license (mandatory due to licensing difficulty) Experience working in a pharmacy, preferably in hospital or clinical settings Strong knowledge of pharmacy practices, medication names, and dosage calculations Ability to work efficiently during the 2nd shift hours and weekends Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong communication and teamwork abilities
