Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Pharmacist to provide expert pharmacy services on a 2nd shift schedule. This role is based in Roy, UT, with responsibilities that include overseeing prescription medications, ensuring compliance with state regulations, and delivering exceptional patient care.

Roy, UT Schedule:
2nd shift (2:30 pm to 11:00 pm) Every other weekend required
Job Type:
Contract (13 weeks with option to extend)
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately dispense prescription medications and counsel patients on proper use. Verify prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness, ensuring safety standards are met. Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes. Maintain compliance with Utah pharmacy laws and regulations. Manage pharmacy inventory and documentation diligently.
Qualifications and Experience:
Must hold a valid Utah Pharmacist license (due to the state's licensing requirements). Strong knowledge of pharmacy practices and medication therapy management. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. Prior experience on evening shifts or working flexible schedules is preferred.
