Category Pharmacy-Pharmacist in Charge Job Type Direct Hire A mail order compounding pharmacy specializing in non-sterile, 503A medications is seeking an experienced Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) with multi-state licensure for a direct hire opportunity. This role is ideal for a proactive leader passionate about fostering a positive workplace culture and supporting pharmacy growth and scalability.
Location:
West Jordan, UT (with the ability to apply for Utah licensure upon hire)
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00
PM Start Date:
ASAP Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge overseeing a 503A non-sterile compounding mail order pharmacy with closed-door operations Manage daily pharmacy activities and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations across multiple licensed states Lead and inspire staff by promoting a positive, growth-oriented work environment Coordinate with the operations team to support scaling and process improvements Oversee dispensing of specialty medications, primarily peptides and GLP-1 therapies
Desired Qualifications:
Licensed Pharmacist in Charge with current licenses in AL, AR, KS, KY, LA, MD, MI, MS, NE, OH, OR, TN, TX, VA, and WV (ability to apply for UT license on hire) Experience managing multi-state pharmacy operations, preferably in mail order or compounding settings Strong leadership skills with a focus on culture-building and team development Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of driving process improvements and growth initiatives Proficiency with Pioneer Rx or similar pharmacy management systems This direct hire role provides an excellent chance to grow professionally within a specialized mail order compounding pharmacy known for its innovative peptide and GLP-1 medication services.
