How you'll contribute A Pharmacist who excels in this role: Manages drug therapy protocols as part of an interdisciplinary team. Reviews, interprets, and evaluates medication orders to identify, prevent, and resolve drug-related problems. Provides drug information and education to medical staff, healthcare professionals, patients, and pharmacy students. Documents interventions and outcomes for drug therapy quality improvement. Verifies medication orders for accuracy/completeness prior to entry; checks filled medications prepared by technicians; maintains proficiency with pharmacy automated systems and software. Additional requirements include:

Current license with the VA state Board of Pharmacy.

BCLS ACLS

preferred Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in stressful environments. Rapid learning and navigation of multiple pharmacy/clinical software systems.
