Overview:

Retail pharmacy is seeking a highly competent, customer focused Pharmacist for a new and exciting opportunity. Candidate must currently have pharmacist license in Virginia. The Pharmacist will direct and coordinate all pharmacy activities including dispensing, adhering to and complying with all state and federal regulations, purchasing, receipt and storage of all pharmaceuticals. Collaborates with management to ensure safe and high-quality pharmacy services.

Job Responsibilities:

Assist the General Manager to ensure the pharmacy provides excellent service, meets all legal requirements, and complies with all policies and procedures of Pharmacy Administer vaccines to target populations Maintain daily operations of the pharmacy dept by supervising pharmacy technicians and cashiers Ensure pharmacy is adequately staffed during hours of operation Provide appropriate training for all staff members Ensure all staff is trained comprehensively on compliance issues, and that all staff is with the Compliance Officer and procedures Prepare required reports to support compliance and the business Maintain patient medication records Complete indeed assessment to consider your application. Maintain proper C2 counts in accordance with state law Monitor drug therapy for Drug interactions, allergies, and appropriateness Participate in the development and implementation of the Performance Improvement Program Oversee drug ordering and inventory control

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy (PharmD is preferred) Licensed to practice in Virginia Immunization certification required Experience with independent pharmacy and retail pharmacy operations preferred

Pay:

$55.00

•$65.00 per hour
