Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract We are seeking an Inpatient Pharmacist for a 13-week+ contract assignment at a 200-bed community hospital in Southwest Virginia. This travel opportunity includes non-taxed stipends as part of the weekly compensation package, for eligible travelers.

Bed Community Hospital IT Systems:

EPIC & Pyxis What You'll Do Verify medication orders and ensure safe, accurate medication use. Supervise and support pharmacy technicians. Consult with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Provide medication-related recommendations and clinical support. Utilize EPIC and Pyxis for pharmacy operations. Support daily pharmacy operations and regulatory compliance. Education & License Requirements PharmD or BSPharm from an accredited pharmacy program. Active Virginia Pharmacist License required. The Ideal Candidate Will Have Hospital pharmacy experience with strong order verification skills. Experience with EPIC and Pyxis preferred. Pharmacy technician supervision experience preferred. Strong communication and attention to detail. Flexibility to work variable day/afternoon shifts.
