Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A travel pharmacist opportunity is available at a 50-bed hospital located in Northern Wisconsin. This contract role starts ASAP and has a duration of 13 weeks or more. The position offers a consistent 12-hour day shift schedule, working 7 days on followed by 7 days off.

Responsibilities include:

Reviewing medication orders to ensure appropriate drug therapy, proper dosing, dosage form, regimen, and identifying therapeutic duplication and drug interactions Providing pharmacokinetic and anticoagulation dosing services Participating in pharmaceutical care through clinical services such as medication reconciliation and discharge medication education Overseeing pharmaceutical compounding with adherence to USP regulatory and compliance guidelines, primarily USP 797 and USP 800 standards Utilizing the EPIC electronic health record system effectively in daily work Desired qualifications and experience: Active pharmacist licensure and relevant certifications Strong knowledge of medication management and clinical pharmacy practices Familiarity with USP 797 and USP 800 guidelines, including pharmaceutical compounding standards Experience with EPIC or similar electronic medical record systems Ability to work efficiently within a hospital setting and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
