Schedule and Contract Details:

Contract position starting ASAP 13 weeks plus duration Primarily 10-hour day shifts Occasional 8-hour weekend shifts when rotating Work environment includes Med/Surg, OB/GYN, ICU, outpatient oncology, emergency department, and surgical units

Responsibilities:

Efficiently manage multiple tasks within a central inpatient pharmacy environment Verify EPIC medication orders and oversee technician activities Respond promptly to pharmacist phone inquiries Dispense and monitor inpatient and outpatient intravenous therapies, including chemotherapy Handle inpatient unit dose medications with accuracy Support a fluctuating inpatient census of 30-40 patients

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Valid pharmacist licensure Experience with EPIC pharmacy system preferred Strong ability to multitask and prioritize in fast-paced hospital settings Background in inpatient and outpatient pharmacy services, including chemotherapy administration Effective communication skills and team collaboration This role offers a valuable experience in a rural healthcare environment, providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care across multiple disciplines and specialized units.
